Interviewer:
Good morning everyone, I would like you to meet here Ms. Roma Luna of Sykes
from Virgin Media Company and we will interview her
regarding her success.… Ma’am can you first
tell a little bit about yourself? About your job?
Interviewee:
I am a mother of a four-year old daughter and of course our daily basis is to
best describe
my job as a trainer..one
of our main..shall I say obligation that we have is to make sure that
we hire or those we, can
transfer from one account to another or one business to another
success, to equip all
the knowledge with regards to the product that they will be selling and
to ensure their in type in
the quality as well.
Interviewer:
What’s a typical day like for you?
Interviewee:
A typical day...an eight hour work everyday is consider of course creating
modules for
topics that we are
launching or if there is a set of task for the trainees..hmm.. meeting new
people, having meetings
with your bosses, so that’s a typical day for me, everyday.
Interviewer:
I see okay.. If you had to start from scratch, knowing what you know how, what
would you
differently?
Interviewee: Hmm.. I really love the job I have right now,
I wont change anything..so maybe nothing
that I can think of. I won’t
change anything coz’ that I might change is to be more
aggressive in this job
because it took me so long before I was able to get this part..
maybe if I were to choose or to change something is
maybe the aggressiveness that I have
Interviewer:
So how long have you been working here?
Interviewee:
I’ve been in the call center industry more than four years now, but as a trainer, just three
months.
Interviewer:
So what lessons did you learn in the process?
Interviewee:
So hmm.. I learned a lot of course on how you treat people..different
people..coz’ of course
it's just not about
everyone and as a trainer you just have to separate your personal in
terms of your professional life,
if that will affect your professional life then that will give
you a problem that
maybe that one thing I’ve learned from this description, job description.
Interviewer:
Next question..hmm..describe one of your biggest failure
Interviewee:
So far that I can think of is being immature yeah, coz’ way back I didn’t think
of anyone
I just thought about
myself…
Interviewer:
Can you state that contribute a lot in your success?
Interviewee:
Three events...so first maybe being a mother at an early age, as I have
mentioned earlier I
got pregnant when I was
18, so I think that had helped me a lot to become who I am right now, I was able to
establish responsibility as early that time, another thing maybe is being immature because that failure
a lot on where I am now ‘coz being so immature before I was able to
actually look back and understand that and maybe one more thing..was having my friends
which helped me a lot or contributed a lot because they taught me build real life in this
real world..to act more professionally and just to be me when I have encountered it.
Interviewer:
What was the accomplishment you are proudest of?
Interviewee:
For me, the biggest or the greatest accomplishment that I had which is in the
process that I
don’t think that would end maybe
is being a mother coz’ basically being a mom is that best thing that I can do in my
entire life, you know, hmm.. in making sure that my daughter is well-taken care of and she
got everything she needs. And that’s one thing I can probably say "yes, I did it very well."
Interviewer:
Yes..any people whom you want to thank like friends or family who have helped
to be
where you are now?
Interviewee:
Generally, of course my family coz’ they are the one who moved me but
specifically my
husband because he
supported me all the way even though we had what you call early marriage and I mean he
was able to establish our family and he was responsible enough and even though in rough
times before I was so immature, he was there to understand and support me all the way
and of course my loving friends..everytime..because they are more than willing to
understand me even I had those rocky roads there.
Interviewer:
I have an additional question..so hmm..any advices to those people who are now
in the same boat I mean..are now
having the same problems you used to face
Interviewee:
Yes of course for me..hmm just a piece of advice, even though you’ve
encountered so many failures in
life..(coz’ I came from a broken family) always look for something that is really positive even
though you are in the darker situation of your life..You just always have to of course raise
everything to God, that’s one and of course you don’t lose your motivation that you have
coz’ everything,...you can always stand straight, you can always hold on to your dreams
then you can do anything well.
Interviewer:
Wow thank you..very well said!
Interviewee: Alright
Interviewer:
Thank you very much for your cooperation.
Interviewee:
Yes
Interviewer:
WE wish you more success with your further undertakings!
Interviewee:
My pleasure!
